Hill House Christian Centre is an ideal venue for Christian conferences,retreats, house parties, team-building, special events, family occasions and much more, and is available throughout the year.
Hill House, has been gradually and tastefully restored over the years, and caters for small and large groups alike, offering the choice of an 18th century main house or the more recently built annexe which includes en-suite bedrooms along with a wet room for the disabled, or book the whole site.

Each year Hill House holds a Family Camp over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend and during the Summer, Christian Youth Camps are held for young people between the ages of 7-17 and then an 18+ weekend.
The Main House has dormitory style accommodation with 15 rooms,ranging from 2-9 single beds in each room (sleeping capacity 68). On the ground floor is a large conference / meeting room, dining room, kitchen, lounge, gents shower rooms and toilets and 3 bedrooms. The first floor consists of several bedrooms and ladies shower rooms and toilets. The kitchen is fully equipped to cater for up to 100 people and consists of freezers, fridges, 2 electric oven ranges (total of 12 hotplates and 2 fan assisted ovens), warming oven, large food mixer, Kenwood chef mixer, toaster and microwave. An industrial dishwasher is in the adjoining utility area.
The Annexe sleeps 28 in 12 twin bed en-suite rooms with 4 extra guest beds. The Annexe has its own kitchen, consisting of freezer, fridge, electric fan assisted ovens with 6 hotplates and a deep fat fryer, microwave, toaster, oven warmer and dishwasher. A dining room and conference / meeting room with tub chairs.
All the rooms in the Main House and Annexe are light, airy, cosy and comfortable. Bedding is provided. Main meeting rooms are fully equipped with pa system.
Baby Facilities: There are 2 travel cots (please bring your own bedding), 2 baby baths, 2 changing mats, night lights, high chairs and 2 booster seats available.
Discounts apply for children aged 4-11yrs if accompanied by their parents or carers.
Catering- full or part catering can be arranged through a local caterer, who offers a great menu and service. Providing excellent home cooked meals at great prices.
Hill House has 15 acres of grounds for you to relax in and enjoy.
However old or young you feel, there is something to suit all our visitors.
Activities include: Outdoor, unheated swimming pool (NB. qualified Lifesavers required. Hill House has 2 qualified Lifeguards, who can be hired). A range of equipment is available from the Games shed, which includes: footballs, rugby balls, rounder's, cricket, tug-o-war, volley ball etc. plus, The Maze, Giant chess and draughts. Small indoors games hall with a 15m traverse climbing wall, badminton and unihoc. Archery and Team Building sessions are available at an additional cost.

Off-site Activities can be arranged and booked with Blackrock Outdoors Limited (20/30 mins away) for high ropes, low ropes, kayaking, raft and bridge building and mountain biking.
Hill House is situated on a hill overlooking the River Parrett, Bridgwater Bay, which is a National Nature Reserve and part of a larger SSSI (site of specialist scientific interest) and Steart Marshes. The grounds have extensive views to Glastonbury Tor and the Quantock Hills. A 10 minute walk across the fields to WWT Steart Marshes - a new but thriving wetland habitat. One of the UK’s largest wetland reserves. Hundreds of hectares of saltmarsh and freshwater wetlands buffer homes and businesses from rising sea levels, and provides a habitat for a rich mix of wetland wildlife including otters, egrets, owls waders and wildfowl.
Hill House is only 10 miles from the M5 yet in the heart of the countryside.
